On February 11, Congressman Beto O’Rourke, candidate for U.S. Senator in the Democratic Primary, will hold a Town Hall in Wharton, TX. The Town Hall will start at 9:00 AM at River Front Central Pavilion, across from the Sheriff’s Department at 315 E. Elm Street, Wharton. Congressman O’Rourke open with a description of problems and solutions that he sees along with his political philosophy. Then, the audience will be able to ask questions of the senatorial candidate.
Beto O’Rourke is a fourth generation Texan from El Paso, a graduate of Columbia University, a founder of a successful business and a former El Paso City Councilman. He was elected to his first a Congressman O’Rourke in 2012.
Key issues for O’Rourke are education, health care and a good economy for workers.
After Congressman O’Rourke concludes, the Wharton County Democratic Party will allow Democratic Primary candidates for districts that include Wharton County.
